The maximum capacity of the club is 115 for cocktails and 96 for seated guests. This is for your safety and comfort.


No. Due to the layout of the clubhouse, we cannot rent by room; therefore, we rent the entire first floor.


No. The Clubhouse is open to all for private and public events.


Yes. Please contact the Rental Coordinator to review the availability of the clubhouse, the rental rates and policies. The Rental Coordinator will send you a link to schedule an appointment. Due to the volume of events, tours of the clubhouse are by appointment only.


All music must be turned off by midnight. All individuals must be off the Club Property by 12:30 am. On New Year’s Eve, we are open until 1 am.


Yes. We have 94 chairs, 10 4’ round tables, 9 30″ highboy cocktail tables, 6 6’ tables and 6 8’ buffet tables.

You are welcome to bring in different chairs or tables to meet your needs.


The Woman’s Club does not have tablecloths. Tablecloths may be rented from various rental companies in the DMV area. All tables must be covered during your event.


We do not have any equipment other than tables and chairs. All cutlery, plates, glasses, decorations, etc. must be provided by the person(s) or company renting our venue.


No. You may bring in your own food or caterer. A list of recommended caterers is available.


Yes. We can accept credit cards. There is an additional 3% processing fee. We prefer checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders. Checks should be made payable to the Woman’s Club of Bethesda.


It is certainly acceptable to provide a gratuity for exceptional service by the Property Manager.


The Woman’s Club of Bethesda is a non-profit organization; proceeds from the rentals support a variety of charitable organizations.


Yes, you can provide alcohol for your guests, as long as you do not sell it.
