The Woman’s Club of Bethesda’s primary goal is to advance the well-being of our community and the state of Maryland. Our service and charitable efforts are focused on helping women, children, and families. We strive to do this through our fundraising events, service opportunities and organized collections.

The Woman’s Club of Bethesda can accommodate 115 guests in our lovely ballroom with maple wood flooring, a small stage, a sunroom, a foyer, and convenient onsite parking.

The Woman’s Club of Bethesda clubhouse was completed in 1928 and has been lovingly maintained over the years. The charm and character of this English-style cottage, with its original slate roof and dormers, is evident inside and out. Wooden doors with wrought iron strap hinges open into a foyer where guests can be greeted.
This versatile space can be used as a reception area or, when closing the quaint pocket doors, a separate place to prepare for a very special entrance into the Ballroom.
The beautiful ballroom features a cathedral ceiling with original exposed rafters and a maple professional dance floor. Contemporary patterned drapes evoke an intimate atmosphere while wall sconces and large brass chandeliers provide plenty of lighting for meetings and entertainment purposes.
At the front of the ballroom is a stage for lecturers, music performances or disc jockey set up. AV equipment is available for all guests. Stylish French doors open into the adjoining Sunroom.

SUNROOM
In the 1960s, a sunroom was added to the ballroom. It is bright and airy, framed by casement windows and French doors, with slate flooring and a decorative fireplace. It can be used for buffet tables and a beverage station, as well as a space for separate seating away from the ballroom guests. Photographers love this area for its natural light. There is an adjacent kitchen with a refrigerator, freezer and warming ovens for your catering needs.
